General Policy Statement

PRICING INFORMATION

Refer to the Tropic Heating finished goods and parts price lists for current pricing or use our online shopping store front.

SHIPPING ORDERS:

All orders placed before 12:00 pacific time will be shipped within 24hrs.  Orders placed after 12:00 pacific time will be shipped within 48hrs.

What are our shipping methods?

UPS package delivery is the primary method of shipping for items weighing less than 150 pounds.  In addition to standard ground service, we offer a next-day air , second-day air, three day select option.  Items marked "Common Carrier Only/Will Call/Local Delivery" can not be shipped utilizing the UPS method, refer to our Freight method.

In addition to the current UPS shipping fee, as indicated in their Calculate Time and Cost page assuming a origination zip code of 92866, all UPS standard ground service will include a $2.00 packaging fee.  All other UPS options will include a $10.00 Packaging/Handling Fee.

All FREIGHT orders are shipped from Tropic Heating via the most economical and convenient carrier. All materials are guaranteed to be in first-class condition leaving our warehouse. Tropic Heating’s responsibility ends when carrier accepts merchandise. Any and all freight claims will be handled directly by the recipient with the carrier. Tropic Heating will assist our customer in any way possible in handling claims.

 

GENERAL POLICY STATEMENT

For those customers who do not purchase with a credit card or on Open Account, the following terms would apply. All freight purchases will be Prepaid - UPS purchases will be sent COD including UPS charges. If the COD order total exceeds $100.00 then payment will be required with money orders or cashier’s check.

Open Accounts: A Customer Information Form must be completed in full and signed by the owner for our credit department to open a new account. A minimum $100.00 service order will be required to open the account. The account holder will be advised of his dollar credit limit via letter. Terms: Net 30 Days. We do not sale finish goods on open accounts.

An interest rate of 1.5% per month will be charged on all invoices that are not paid when due.

Terms specifications, discounts and prices are subject to change without notice.  If an account is turned over to a collection agency or attorney for collection, that account will pay any and all fees associated with this collection before they will be sold again.  Owner of company personally guarantees any and all debts incurred with Tropic Heating of his company, regardless of incorporation. A $100.00 fee will be charged for each dishonored or returned check.

CREDIT POLICY DISCLOSURE

Required by Title 1, Federal Consumer Protection Act and Regulation Z, Federal Reserve Board of Governors.  The billing cycle of Tropic Heating runs from the first working day of the month through the last working day of the same month. A monthly statement of all charges will be sent to all accounts with a balance due, by the tenth of the following month.   All charges, credits and payment made or received after the last working day of the month, will not appear until the following month’s statement.  At the close of business on the last working day of the month, and interest charge of 1.5% will be imposed on any and all invoices that have a balance due that is over 60 days.  If your account has unpaid invoices that are 60 days from date of invoice your account will be on hold until all past due invoices, interest charges and fees are paid.

RETURNED MERCHANDISE POLICY STATEMENT

In keeping with good business practices, Tropic Heating accepts the fact that merchandise needs to be returned. The following is set as a guideline for these returns:

1. No merchandise shall be returned to Tropic Heating without prior approval and a written Return Authorization number issued by a our Customer Service Representative.

2. When requesting a Return Authorization, the following information is required:

Condition of merchandise (Must be Unused and resalable)

3. Returns will be made freight prepaid unless otherwise authorized.

4. Merchandise returned within one month of purchase and in undamaged, original unopened packaging will be issued credit, subject to 25% restocking fees, less any freight expenses for shipment of the merchandise. Credit will be issued at original cost. All returned items are subject to inspection before any transactions are performed.

5. Return Authorizations will be voided within 10 days if merchandise is not returned.
