Regulator for 240 Volt Units This switch is used for 240 Volt systems only.  They can handle up to 15 amps maximum.  They function like a incremental timer, One Full cycle of approximately 17 seconds.  When turn to max the heater is On for the full cycle, when on 1/2 turn setting it is On for half of its cycle or 8.5 seconds and Off for the remaining cycle or 8.5 seconds.  During its On increment the power is full and there is no power being drawn during its Off increment.  This item will not work with the Infratech W4024 unit or higher as the draw to many amps. YOU will need to supply: the junction box as well as the cover plate for this item.
